Hello there and welcome to this guide!!
Pokemon Legends recently introduced the Trainer School. A place where you can learn about the basics on how to play the game and where you will have a better understanding of the game. So in this guide we will be having a look at the basics while we play the game.
Note 1: In this guide you will basically find almost the same stuff that was released in the School tutorial, so thanks Team Pokemon Legends (Team PL) who added all this valuable info about the basics ;)
Note 2: I do highly recommend you to read the guide from top to bottom to prevent you from getting stuck and remember that you can always come back if you need to read things again or you can also kindly ask other users in the game.
Note 3: If you have already graduated or are looking for a specific topic, you can press Ctrl+f buttons to open a little search box, and write the word in there to highlight it.
We will be looking at the following topics:
Quests
Trades
Pokémon Center
Pokemon Skills and Pokemon Followers
Chatting tabs and General Help
Report and Appeal
Pokemon Battle
EV points
PVP Battles
Tournaments
Daycare
Egg moves and IV stats
Orden Trainer School was released May 16, 2020 with an official post made by PrincessPhoenix.
Without further ado, let's start!!
Orden Trainer School
Welcome to School!
To start this tutorial, we have to enroll to participate and to do that, just enter the North-Western (North is up, south it down) biggest building at the very first town called 'Bluegum Town'. Talk to the NPC to the right and we will start the following quest:
Orden Trainer School
Objective: Complete all the courses in the trainer school
Reward: 5.000¢, you will be able to choose 1 of the 3 water Pokemon as graduation gift and we will also unlock the option to buy Everstones for 5000c each.
Solution: This quest will be finished once we complete different mini quests inside the school. For now we should walk north and talk to the lady with the red hat who will teach us all about quests and I do HIGHLY recommend you to read everything or you can read it here down below.
1.-Quests
Quest are given by the NPCs with and exclamation symbol over their heads .
You might also encounter the receptionist's quest or bulletin board quests; ''Try to interact with everything while playing. You might find hidden quests!''
Some quests do need Pokemons, and to complete such a quest it is needed to take the pokemon off your team, trades, daycare, gallery or auctions, then go to their stat page and click on the quests button , then press Enable.
Continue with the text in the game and the lady with a red hat will give us a new quest (Read down below)
Tips:
Trainer School Homework: Quest Caterpie
Objective: Show the teacher an originally owned Caterpie
Reward: 200¢
Solution: If you have already a Caterpie, take it off your team, trades, daycare, gallery or auctions, then go to their stat page and click on the quests button , then press Enable. Once all that is in place, talk again to the Teacher. (Read the tips if you want a Caterpie)
Tips: If you do not have a Caterpie already, you can press the red button called ''reset'', just under the game screen, That button resets your position and that means that you will be taken to the very first map where you started your journey, exactly, the famous ''Grassy Patch'', where Caterpie is found.
--Don't worry, all progress of your journey is always auto-saved--
---Congratulations!! That was your fist Lesson at the school, remember that to view your list of active or completed quests you can go to Account>Quests---
Let's continue!! >:)
Enter the room to the left and interact with the teacher who want to teach us the basics of the trades.
2.- Trades
When interacting with the teacher, at certain point we will find a menu with different options:
How to trade Basically go to the trade page on the left menu where you can select a Pokemon you would like to trade from the drop down menu and then you can press the ''set Pokemon to trade set'' button to confirm its placement on trades. If someone offers on a trade it will show up to the right of the trade.
Trade restrictions Some Pokemon can not be traded at all, like all Starters and the Legendary ones. A Pokemon that is already in your team, gallery, or daycare, will also not be available to trade. Remember to check these conditions if one or more Pokemon do not show up on the trade menu
How to prevent trade evolution If you are trading a trade-evolve Pokemon that you do not want to evolve, you can attach an Everstone. Remember how to enable a Pokemon for a quest? Well, there is a button called ''attach'', click on it an select the everstone. (Not use the use button) As long as the Pokemon is holding the Everstone, it will not evolve when traded
Assign/Check Homework In this option we will face a Pop quiz and that is why we will return to this quiz later on. For now, let's move to the next Npc in the room.
The Next Npc is the black haired student who will teach us about Hearts and if we interact with him, we will see the following menu:
What are Hearts? Hearts are what you can give traded Pokemon to make them like you enough to obey. To assign a heart to a Pokemon, go to their stat page and click on the ''Love'' button. This button has a heart icon next to it and is on the menu to the right of a Pokemon's image box. It takes 4 hearts to make a traded Pokemon obey, so make sure you have enough! To see how many hearts you have, look at the top right of the page near your money and login count. Little secret: If you give at least 2 hearts to an Eevee and set a fairy move, something happens! That is how you get Sylveon
How to obtain Hearts You get some hearts every 24 hours from the last time you logged in. To keep track, you can click on the heart icon at the top right of the page and it will show how many hours ago it awarded the last set of hearts. Once that log passes 24 hours, you will get hearts the next time you log in. Remember, it is only when you lgo in so if you are due hearts, log out and back in! The amount of hearts you get will vary from time to time, and between 2 and 6.
Are Hearts the same as friendship points? Unfortunately no, Hearts are not related to friendship points. The friendship point system currently does not work in Orden, so any Pokemon that requires friendship for evolution will instead evolve upon lvl-ing up.
Lastly, we have the Npc with the white hat who will give some info about the Auction page. Interact with him and the following menu will be shown:
Where is it? The Auctions page I'm referring to is on the main menu to the left of the page. Some people may do quick auctions in the trade chat but that is unrelated
Set up Auctions You can select the Pokemon you want to auction from the drop-down menu. The minimum bid is the least amount of money someone can bid on your Pokemon. It is recommended to set this to the minimum amount you will accept, and not under-price. Why? Because once someone bids you can not remove your Pokemon from the auction! The auction time is how long the auction will stay up before ending. The number are in decimals. To help, the minimum 0.25 is 15 minutes, while the default 0.5 is 30 minutes.
Bidding The easiest way to find an auction to bid on is yo use the search tab. If you are not looking for anything specific, just selecting the expiring auctions will do. To bid, click on the ''Place an Offer'' button to the right of the Pokemon. Unlike normal trades, you can only offer in game coins, and no Pokemon counter offer is needed. Please note that any coins you bid with, will be withdrawn from the account until the auction ends. This is even if you are currently outbid! If the auction ends and you did not have the winning bid, your money is returned.
--Now that we completed our learning about basic trades we should be ready for exam and homework--
Well, it is not an exam, just the Pop-quiz mentioned a few lines above, remember?
After we have talked to every npc in the room, talk to the teacher and select the option ''Assign/Check Homework'' to start the Pop-quizz.
-QUESTION 1: What item prevents trade evolution? -Everstone
-QUESTION 2: Which of these Pokemon can be traded? None of the above
-QUESTION 3: If a traded Pokemon won't obey, what do you do? Give ti 4 hearts
And now it is time for the home work!
Once you have answered correctly the questions, talk to the teacher again and select the ''Assign/Check Homework'' option and a new quest will begin:
Trainer School Homework: Trade Evolution
Objective: Find an Everstone and show an Alakazam.
Reward: 1.000¢
Solution: First let's get the Everstone.
-Leave the school and enter your parents house which is just south of the school Click here for a map where each colour represents a building:
Trainer School
Parents House
Pokemon Center
Pokemon Market
Tournament/League house
-Once inside, we need to interact with mom and when the text is finished go to your room by using the stairs.
-Walk to the bed (you need to be stepping it), select the option ''yes'' and we wake up in the middle of the night where we will notice that something is by the stairs, go and interact with it.
-Yes its him follow him and talk to him again.
-Go outside and talk to him on the south-eastern side of the town.
After the dialogue ends, you can explore Orden and you will be selected to protect this world. After that we will wake up in our room.
-Walk down the stairs and reach mom. After the dialog, interact with Mack, the Npc with the white suit.
-Talk to Mack again inside the Tournament house (use the image from above if needed) and you will receive the Everstone. DO NOT attach the stone to any pokemon, we just need it in our bag to complete this part.
(Click here if you want to read about the Tournaments/Leagues)
Alakazam part:
You will need an originally owned Alakazam, and to get one you can capture an Abra at the patch to the south of the Poke-center, where you can also find Shinx and Sentret and Meditite.
-Once you have captured Abra, lvl-it up till lvl 16 and then you must ''trade evolve'' it to get Alakazam. That means that Kadabra will evolve into Alakazam if it is traded. You can kindly ask your friends or other users for help in the trade chat to evolve your Kadabra into Alakazam. Staff members or trusted FD sellers are users who might be a big help, if you do not trust other users.
-Once you have enabled Alakazam for quest, and off your team, gallery, etc... and your Everstone in your bag, go back to the teacher to interact with him and select the ''Assign/Check Homework'' option to complete the quest.
-We should now go to the next room to the right side of the school, where we will find 2 Npcs that might want to send us on a quest.
-Let's interact with the Nurse.
3.-Pokemon Center
Here will we know some of the basics of the Pokemon functions.
How to heal To heal your Pokemon for free, we offer Pokemon Centers around Orden. They are buildings with a red roof and a white Pokeball sign. Speak to the nurse inside to heal. Around Orden there are also wandering doctors who heal you if you battle them first. You can also buy potions and Healing items from the marts and vending Machines!! Unfortunately, you can only use healing items during battles so plan accordingly
How to evolve a Pokemon. Pokemon often evolve in battle when they reach a certain lvl. Some Pokemon only evolve by using items such as stones, while others require trading! To item evolve, go to the Pokemon's stat page and press the use item button, then select the item. Pokemon such as Growlithe, Pikachu and Vulpix evolve by using a stone on them. And to trade evolve, the eligible Pokemon will evolve when it reaches the person you traded with. Pokemon such Kadabra, Haunter and Machoke evolve through trades. Some Pokemon, such as Sneasel, only evolve at certain times of day. Whereas some Pokemon need both a held item and trading, such as Seadra to Kingdra. There are some less common evolution methods in Orden. You may find them one day! For specific evolution methods, you can visit the Pokedex, or look on the forums!
How to change team members You can go to the page Pokemon>My Team to bring up the team change menu. You can click and drag your team members around to rearrange the Pokemon already on your team. Or, you can use the drop down menus below the team to add or remove team members. The left menu allows you to select a specific spot, while the right allows you to select the replacement. To quick search for nicknamed Pokemon, click on the right drop down menu to bring up a next entry field, then start the search with a parenthesis, which is this ( and then the nick name.
Assign/Check Homework Talk to the Nurse and she will give us a new quest:
Trainer School Homework: Pokemon Center.
Objective: Find the item that the nurse hid in the Pokemon Center!
Reward: 300¢ and 1x Fresh water
Solution: Leave the School, walk south and reach the Pokemon Center. Once inside, pickup the Pokeball in the ground by interacting with it. Press the x button near it. Go back to the Nurse inside the School and select the 4th option.
Tips: 1.- Fresh Waters Heals 50 hp while in battle and you can buy them inside the gate houses from the vending machines.
2.- In Pokemon Legends you can not save the game, but all progress is insta-saved. But, if all your Pokemons are defeated In the wild to a NPC or a legendary Pokemon, you will respawn at the last Pokemon Center you visited. This might save you some time when exploring maps far away from town.
--Now that we are finish with the info from the nurse, let's interact with the black dressed Guest to learn about Pokemon Skills and Pokemon Followers.
4.-Pokemon Skills and Pokemon Followers.
How to add skills to Pokemon Skills, otherwise known as moves, are attacks that your Pokemon can use in battle or on the field. To set them, go to your Pokemon's stat page and find a section called ''Pokemon Moves''. You can select up to 4 skills from the drop-down menu to assign to your Pokemon. When everything is selected press the ''save attack order'' button. Note that if a Pokemon has exactly 4 skills or less, it may not allow you to change skills order.
How to get more skills Pokemon learn skills naturally through lvling up. (Check the Pokedex for exact lists), but they can also learn skills through the skill shop, Move-tutors or breeding. The skill shop is a button located to the right of the ''save attack order'' button. When on the shop page, you can select what skill you want to learn and buy the skill. Then, when you return to your Pokemon's stat page, you can select it as a skill. Move-Tutors are special NPCs that appear throughout Orden that can teach specific skills. They are encountered through world quests or visit during some events. Last but not least, some Pokemon can learn egg-moves. This acquired by breeding a male with an eligible move with a female target species. There is an instructor upstairs that go more into this, though.
What are follower Pokemon Have you seen some people have a Pokemon following them around? Those are called followers. It is a premium feature, meaning that it is only acquirable by donating real money to the game. You can find the option to obtain them on the Account>Donate page. Followers do not contribute to gameplay and are cosmetic, so having a follower is optional. Here is a list with Pokemon followers, Click here.
Assign/check homework
--The Npc will tell us that we need to buy a skill and give it to a Pokemon. We know that Pokemon do need to be quest-enabled, but in this case of checking for required skills the Pokemon only needs to be on your team. Now we will start the quest:
Trainer School Homework: Attractive Learning
Objective: Buy and set the Attract skill to a Pokemon on your team
Reward: 600¢
Solution: On the Menu at the left side of your screen, go to Pokemon>My team and then click on a Pokemon in your team. Click the blue button called ''buy skills'', find and select the move 'Attract'. Then click on the green button at the bottom of the page to confirm your purchase. Now we must select the skill Attract as one of the 4 moves that your Pokemon can use in battle, click the green button ''Save attack order'' to save the moves.
Talk to the black dressed Npc, select the 4th. option and Congratz!
Tips: To buy skills you can do it even if they are not in your team. Just remember to have them on your team if it is needed for a quest
--Interact with the most northern Npc to acquire a bit more info about Pokemon in Pokemon Legends.
How to find a Pokemon You can find wild Pokemon in tall grass or caves or sometimes even trees! People also can obtain Pokemon in tournaments and events, or reviving them from fossils. There are also two special variants of your average Pokemon in Orden: Shiny and Gold. Shiny: Can be found in the wild as a super rare spawn, and also won in tournaments. (Shiny encounter rates are 1/8192 for non premium and 1/4096 for Premium players). There is also a chance to get shinies from hatching eggs, and many event exchange Npcs. Gold: Are only obtainable by buying them with tokens from the Pokedex. Other than colour changes, shinies give +15 points to hp, while Golds have +15 points to speed.
How to lvl-up a Pokemon You can lvl-up your Pokemon through battles, daycare, and Rare Candies. When your Pokemon faints another, they gain some experience points (EXP). NOTE: Tournament arena-hosted battles may not give EXP. When you place a Pokemon in a daycare, it will also slowly accumulate EXP. It will take a while to get them to lvl 100 through the daycare, so battles are preferred. The last way is to use Rare candies, which gives Pokemon 1 lvl per candy used. Rare candies can only be purchased once from the donation page, and is a premium item.
How to prevent EXP gain? You may be wondering why you would not want a pokemon to gain EXP, right? Well, in Orden there are some places that only allow Pokemon of a certain level to proceed. For example if you want to EV train for a tournament, or go to the Tower of Eevee, have your Pokemon hold a ''No Experience Stone'' and they won't gain exp or lvl-up in battle! No-xp Stones are typically sold in the marts of towns or cities that host hourly tournaments. Unfortunately this only works for battles. Your Pokemon will still gain xp in a daycare.
Assign/Check Homework
Trainer School Homework: The No EXP Stone
Objective: Obtain a No Experience Stone to show the Guest Speaker.
Reward: 600¢
Solution: If you already have one in your bag, just talk to the Npc again. If you do not have one, go to the Poke-mart and buy 1
Tips: No-xp stones needs to be attached to the Pokemon, NOT used.
--Now that this room is finished, talk to the old teacher and will mark this class as completed.
--Leave the room and enter the most North-Eastern room.
5.-Chatting tabs and General Help
--Talk to the Npc with the motorcycle:
What are chat tabs? The in game chat currently has 4 tabs: Country chat, Global chat, Trade Chat and Help Chat. Country chat is tied to your country of origin. You can usually find people in your general area. Global chat displays the chats from the other Country chats that are not your own. Trade chat is self explanatory. It is for trading, price checking, sometimes fast auctions. Help chat is usually reserved for people requesting game assistance.
What do green names mean? Green names are PL's (Pokemon Legends) game staff! They come in 2 colours: Bright green and Dark green. You can hover the name to see what particular type of staff they are!
What does purple text mean? If someone types your username in a sentence, it will turn purple on your end. This is the game's version of a ping or highlight! In addition, the name of the tab will tell you that your name was mentioned. To get rid of the tab name notification, you can click into the text input area of the chat.
What are those yellow numbers people post Yellow text is reserved for the Pokemon ID codes. Some else in this room can explain that to you in detail!
Who posts the red text? Sometimes you see red text in the chat, such as a warning or announcement. These are System texts and are entirely automated.
--Now we should talk to the brown-haired student for a little more info of where to get help with the game: The forum, blogs, Help chat in game and the game's Discord Server. You can find most of these by clicking on the community link on the main menu to the left. The help chat is one of the tabs in the main chat.
If you are just looking for updates or changes, visit the forum or blog!
--Interact with the student closest to the teacher, who will tell about socialize:
How to verify email When you register for the game an email is sent to the email you registered. You may need to check your spam folder because it often appears there. Once you find the email, click on the link within and then you are verified. If you do not get an email you can go to Account>Profile to have another one sent. You can also change the email on the profile page, until it is verified.
How to change player Avatars Go to Account>Profile to change your character avatar. The menu is on the right side of the page. Premium accounts have a few more avatars available to use. There are also some temporary avatars that appear during events! They will be available to everyone, but will disappear when the event ends. However, if you pick an event avatar, it won't go away after an event until you change it.
How to mute sounds Go to Account>Profile to turn game music off or on. ''Sounds'' refer to noises in games such as battle attacks, lvl ups and item acquisition. ''Music'' refers to background music that plays during routes or battles.
How to post links to Pokemon in chat Sometimes you will see some yellow text linking to a Pokemon in the game chat. You can do this by going to a Pokemon's stat page and pressing the ''Code'' button. The code button is on the far right side of the Details section!
--Lastly, talk to the Teacher and prepare for class exam. If you feel ready press yes.
-QUESTION 1: What do green names in the chat represent? Various staff of the game
-QUESTION 2: Which of these is not a source for PL game help? Phone calls
-QUESTION 3: How do you enable yourself to communicate in the chat? Verify your registered email.
-QUESTION 4: Which chat tab is recommended for trading and Auctions? Trade chat
-Now that we passed the exam, you might continue with the other classes/rooms.
--Exit that class and go to the basement located at the left side facing the north wall. Here we should talk to the first police officer close to the Arcanine.
6.-Report and Appealing
How to report a rule-breaker The quickest way to report a rule breaker is to go to the game forum Reporting Section, then post a new topic to he report sub-forum. Screenshots are required, so it is essential to take screenshots before reporting.
How to appeal a ban If you suspect that you may have been banned, you can make an appeal. Appeals are done in the appeal area of the forum! One per ban. There are 2 main types of bans, here: chat bans and account bans. Chat bans usually last only 24 hours and expire on their own. During a chat ban you can still play the game, but can not chat. The daycare, PvP and tournaments will also be suspended during a chat ban. An account ban blocks entire acces to the account, and will say so when you try to log in. Most appeals are for account bans rather than chat bans.
--Talk to the next officer and then talk to the Npc in between the 2 System cones, who will talk about the rules of the game and here is the link. I do highly recommend you to read them or you might end banned. If you wish to read The rules click here.
--If we talk to the ''bandit leader'' (as I call it), we will know that he/she tried to evade a ban and got an extended punishment for that. DO NOT ban evade!
What is ban evading? It is when one of your account is banned, and you jump on another account to acces blocked features.
--And finally we need to interact with that cone sitting at the desk to the right to grab a note:
''This is some homework for you: 5 potential rule-breakers are lined up against the cell bars. Each one of them will tell you why they are standing there. Your homework is to find the true Orden rule-breaker''.
--Once we read it, a new quest will start:
Trainer SChool Homework: Behind Bars
Objective: Identify the Orden rule-breaker from the basement lineup.
Reward: 300¢
Solution: Ok, so I do not know if this part is different for everyone, but for me it was the 2nd rule breaker (from left to right) with the chat banned account. Interact with him/her and say ''yes''.
Tips: Do not break the rules xD
--We are now done here and should go to the main hall where we will need to interact with the Karate dressed Npc, the Hall Monitor. He will tell that students can not access the 2nd floor until they pass all first floor and basement classes.. That means, exams and homework.... but since we are finish let's go to the 2nd floor!
Tip: you can press the Z button and your character will run (bikes are not needed in Pokemon Legends, to move fast through the maps. I will add that you can walk on water with out having a pokemon in your team with surf and later on you will unlock the Pokemon flying/ride system which can take you from town to town or can skip a few maps =)
7.-Pokemon Battle
Once in the 2nd floor (1st floor for UK and other countries users), lets go inside the room to the left. Here we will find 7 Npcs. in room that it looks like an arena, so probably we should visit the Pokemon Center and heal our Pokemons.
Let's start with the southern side of the room, where an NPC with white clothes will teach us about doctors around Order who can heal you, but they will only heal if you defeat them in battle first. Once he is defeated you can heal your team if needed.
Now interact with the NPC with red clothes who will engage you. The battle is not that complicated if you already have 2-3 Pokemons.
Lastly, interact with the NPC with the exclamation mark to start a new quest:
Trainer School Homework: Battle the Bully
Objective: Battle the bully in the second floor hall!
Reward: 800¢
Solution: To complete the quest you will need to have a Sentret that is no higher than lvl 20, as the only pokemon in your team. Walk outside and interact with the bully to start the battle. Once you win the duel, go back to the boy in red to complete the quest.
Tips: The Bully has a lvl 12 Sentret as the only pokemon to be defeated. You can borrow Sentret from another user, just remember to give it hearts or it will not obey you.
Remember that Sentret will evolve at certain lvl and you can press the Z button to cancel its evolution until you feel that your Pokemon is strong enough. You can always evolve it later as long it is not lvl 100.
Once we have finished the quest, we will learn that in Pokemon Legends there will be others restrictions regarding battles.
Now let's look at the northern duel-arena. Interact with the lady with the Bulbasaur to learn about the EV. aka. Effort Value points.
8.-EV points.
What are Effort Value points, exactly? On your Pokemon stat page, have you noticed an Effort Value table? For every 4 EV points you gain in a stat, that stat overall gains 1 point. This boost is noticeable when your Pokemon is closer to lvl 100. For a lvl 5 Pokemon? Not so much. So people prefer to EV train higher lvl Pokemon.
How do I get EV Points? Ev points can be obtained by defeating wild Pokemon. (Pokemon in NPC or PVP battles will not give EV points.) The type of EV point awarded depends on the species of Pokemon. You can also obtain EV points through items, but these are uncommon, fx. Eevee Candies found during events can give 5 EV points. You can also remove EV points from stats you do not want them in, with an EV Reducer. EV Reducers are dropped by Pokemon such as wild Pidgey!
What is the max. amount of EV points? A Pokemon can normally have only 252 EV points per stat, and they can only have a total maximum of 510 EVs. That is enough to max out 2 stats with a little extra points to the side!
Anything to help get them faster? If your Pokemon is holding a Macho Brace, it gains double EV points from wild Pokemon! Unfortunately Macho Brace is a premium (Costs real money) item. However, some people do sell Macho Brace in the Player Item Shop for in game coins.
''ADD EV GUIDE TO THE FORUM AND INTER LINK HERE''
9.-PvP battles.
--Let's now talk with Acchan, sorry, I mean the NPC with the Chikorita.
How to PvP? You can challenge people to a PvP by clicking on their avatar and selecting Battle! You will instantly go into a battle, but the other person may not appear if they decline the PvP. If you are challenged to a battle, a popup appears asking if you accept the battle.
What are inverse battles? Inverse battles have a Pokemon's strength and weakness reversed! Meaning, a Water type is resistant to Electric attacks and Grass is strong to Fire! It is a fun way to mix up an otherwise ordinary battle.
Is there a penalty to losing? There is currently no penalty such as coin loss for losing a battle. If your entire team faints you are warped back to the last place you healed. So people can PvP to their heart's content.
10.-Tournaments
--Now that we have learned the basics of PvP, let's start a new quest by talking to the
most northern NPC. Note that you will not fight him, so just select the option yes.
Tournaments do run every hour!
What kind of tournaments? There are 5 tournaments in Orden which are arranged by Pokemon lvls. Starters for lvls 1-20 and is held here in Bluegum Town. Intermediate is for lvls 21-40 and is held in Darlinghurst Town. Advanced is for lvls 41-60 and is held at the Eastbourne Shore. Expert is for lvls 61-80 and is held in Wildhaven Town. And last but not least, Master is for 81-100 and is held in Grayview City!
Any tournament limitations? Each tournament is restricted by level! For example you can not bring a lvl 21 or above tournament to the Starters tournament. You can also only have a Maximum of 5 wins in the Starters Tournament. All other tournaments can be won an unlimited amount of times. Because of this, both the Starters and intermediate tournament share the same prize pool.
Assign/Check Homework This option will start a new quest:
Trainer School Homework: Bluegum Tournament
Objective: Retrieve the item to prove you know where the tournament it is!
Reward: 300¢
Solution: We were already inside the tournament house. Exactly! It is the building where we got the Everstone, the eastern building with a Pokeball as roof.
Enter the building and pick-up the item in the ground and go back to the Npc and select the option Assign/Check Homework to complete the quest.
Tips:
--Now to complete the room, we need to talk with the teacher who have a little quiz for us.
-QUESTION 1: What tournament is held in the Bluegum Tournament Arena? Starters (lvl 1-20)
-QUESTION 2: What happens when all your Pokemon faint? You are warped to the last place you healed.
-QUESTION 3: What does EV stand for? Effort Value
-QUESTION 4: Can you bring a lvl 100 to the Expert Tournament? No
-QUESTION 5: What does Inverse Battle do? Type matchups are reversed
Congrats!! We passed this class and can move to the next!! Remember to also visit the Gyms when you reach a new Town!!
NOTE: If you wish to read more about the Tournaments, read this topic.
11.-Daycare, egg moves and IV stats!
--We are now in the hall at the 2nd floor and ready to enter the room to the right.
If we talk to the student close to us and then the one with the Magikarp, we will learn that the Pokemon will keep gaining xp and evolving while they are in the Daycare and also that hatched Pokemon inherit IVs from their parents:
1 IV from one of the parents and 2 IVs from the other. In other words if you want to breed, use the best parents you can find!
The last student with the red bandanna says that if we place a male and female Pokemon in the daycare, they might create an egg!
What species of Pokemon are compatible? You can see what species a Pokemon can breed with by looking at their Pokedex Page! At the very bottom of the page is a list of Pokemon they can normally pair with. (There is an exception... grade S Pokemon can not breed even if listed)
Can all Pokemon breed? Baby Pokemon such as Togepi, Tyrogue and Pichu can not breed! If you want to breed those, you can evolve them first. Legendary Pokemon such as Mew, Mewtwo and Zapdos also can not breed. Lastly, any Pokemon of grade S can not breed. This includes pseudo-legendaries like Dratini. You can see what grade a Pokemon is on their Pokedex entry.
Where is the nearest Daycare? The nearest Daycare is on route 3! If you want to have a look at Orden's region 1 full map, click here
How long does it take to get an egg? Here on PL daycare functions only run as long as you are online and not chat banned. If you have 2 Pokemon of the same species, eggs may appear in about 20 minutes. If the 2 Pokemon are not of the same species, the eggs may take a very long time, sometimes 6 hours or more.
--Walk to the northern room and talk to the Npc sitting on the left side:
Pokemons that are not compatible will not produce any eggs but they will still lvl-up.
--The next Npc is the girl on the left side who will give us info about the Everstone nature breeding technique!
Normally when you breed a Pokemon, the nature of the hatched Pokemon is random, but if the mother holds an Everstone, there is a 50% chance that the mother's nature passes down. This is great when you are trying to breed a Pokemon with a beneficial nature. Which natures are beneficial? It depends on the species.
--Next girl on the right side will teach us about more advanced breeding techniques:
Passing down egg moves!!
Egg moves are skills from the father species that the offspring of the mother can have when hatched. In order to pass down an egg move to the mother Pokemon Needs to be compatible with it. (you can check the skill list in the Pokedex for moves only learnable through breeding.)
The father Pokemon needs to have the skill set to one of its 4 skills slots in order to pass the move down. Unfortunately only the father Pokemon can pass down egg moves, not the mother.
Finally, let's talk to the teacher on the southern room by the desk to start a new Quiz!
-QUESTION 1: Which Pokemon grade is not breedable? S
-QUESTION 2: What is the held item that helps pass down natures? Everstone
-QUESTION 3: How are egg moves passed down in Orden? Father only
--That is all for that room and the basics of the Pokemon Breeding and if you want a more detailed ADD BREEDING GUIDE LINK HERE

And that is all trainers!! I really hope you liked it and that you understood the basics of the game. You can always come back here and read stuff if needed or you can simply kindly ask other users in the game for help.
