Ancient Relics in Modern Times

Hello there, this quest is very very long and we will need 5 badges and have completed many quests in order to have access to all the relics. With that in mind, hands to work =)

Objective: Discover the relics.

Reward: 8.000¢

Solution: This quest is started in Sunrock Desert E4, by talking to the Professor near the ruins. Then head to Sandmarsh Town, and Cascadie (leader of the 2nd Gym) will stop us and talk to us. Nothing related with the relic quest, but this part is needed to get out of Sandmarsh. Go to the Pokemon center and Heal your team.

Once our Pokemon are healed and fresh, let's enter the Sanmarsh Library and reach the 2nd room to talk to the leader of the 1st Gym and he will tell us the location of the 1st relic. He will also tell us that each time we find a relic, hints and new info will be revealed for the next relic.

NOTE: After talking to the 1st gym leader, and leaving the library, you will not be able to use the market or the pokemon-center... and all the exit routes are blocked by the townspeople and/or the police.

Now that we're out of the library, Cascadie will be outside, talk to her (blue hair) and she'll say that Splashy has been stolen... Follow the only available east route to the Sandmarsh Swamp until you find Cascadie.

After seeing the cut-scene and Cascadie recovering Splashy, you can go back to the town. On the way to the town, the 2nd gym leader will appear again, nothing important. That was the first section. Now the relics quest is started and we can also get pass Sandmarsh Town.

Finding the Relics

NOTE 1: For the next section of the relics you might need to have to complete a few quest if you don't have completed them yet. (Not necessarily all previous quests, but better this way so you don't get stuck in the middle of the relics.

NOTE2: The section from down below is a modified version from the guide made by ''RainingForMe''

First Relic:

1. Let's go to route 12

2. Talk to the Swellow next to the girl on the right.

3. Follow the Smellow into the tree, enter the tree and then play the mini-game. (The relic is obtained after passing 3 different platforms with pokemons, The idea is to reach the final room where the relic is (pokeball in the ground), without being discovered by the pokemons. Once we reach the relic, interact with it and it will take us (on a dream) to an island where mew is located. Try to get where mew is and talk to him.

2nd Relic:

1. Follow the path to the north, all the way around the statue and on the right side from statue you will find the entrance to the cave (Click here) that contains the second relic (you cannot enter here if you do not have the lamp/lantern and you will also fail when trying to complete the mini-game if you dont have the Haunter following you).

2. Enter the spider cave and you will pass the mini-game without problems!!

3. When interacting with the 2nd relic let's talk to Mewtwo.

Third Relic:

1. Let's go Dorocoast and after you acquired the gym badge, talk to the Alternate Gym Leader.

2. Complete the Wedding part inside Eastbourne Chapel.

3. Head to Eastbourne Gym Leader's House (north from the Gym)

4. Press the ''x button'' on the refrigerator and choose the ''Turn on the switch'' option. Here you will have to look for the secret room that is under the Magikarp Statue.

5. When you find it, take the Pokeball and it will take us to the clouds: u

6. Walk between maps or talk to Pidgeots to switch clouds, until you reach Zapdos to interact with it.

7. Once you finish with Zapdos and return to the secret room, take the papers that are on the table and it will enable the start to the SS neptune.

4th Relic:

Note 1: This section is based on MrIbby's guide.

Note 2: For the fourth relic it is a requirement to finish the ''SS Neptune'' part to be able to reach Blackfell Town, and once in Blackfell, we will need to complete the following quests:

• Feeding the Fire

• The Zombie`s Apocalypse.

Tip: After talking to the old woman's spirit who is near the statue located north of the swamp in the graveyard, we will obtain a Gengar lvl 50 (it is the Haunter from Newpine who will auto evolve) and the Gengarite Mega stone :3

1. Once these 2 wonders are obtained, press the ''X button'' near the big statue and we will gain access to the Blackfell caves (Click here).

2. Follow the maps in the following order B-H-F-I, to reach Tombs of Statues. NOTE: Do not take the Pokeball (the relic) on the ground. If you take the relic before activating the statues and/or get the order of the statues wrong, you will be thrown out of the cave and will have to re-enter and re-activate the statues again.

3. Once you reach the ''Tomb of Statues'', we have to activate the statue number 2 and statue number 5 only.

4. Once these statues are activated, go back to the Pokeball is and press the ''X button''. Now talk to moltres.

5th Relic.

NOTE: To obtain the fifth Relic you must have 5 Badges and the previous 4 relics.

1. Once the 5th gym leader is defeated, talk to the Gym Leader in Wildhaven again and with her psychic powers she will bring King Pidgeot outside of the Gym. Interact with it and it will take us to Snowy Mountain.

2. Follow the path until you find the cave entrance, follow the path until you come across a NPC.

3. Talk to the NPC who will explain about the puzzle and how it got here.

4. Make your way through the puzze until you reach the Pokeball (5th and last relic) in the center of the Puzzle.

Finishing the quest.

1. We must now go back to the King Pidgeot at the beginning of the Snowy Mountain, interact with it and it will take us to the Sandmarsh Desert. Optional: if you completed the Numel quest, use that service as soon as you get to the desert from the mountain and go to map E4... if you don't have this service yet, you will have to run to the Desert E4.

2. Enter the pyramid and deliver all the relics to the professor (just interact with him).

Congratulations, quest completed and you have 8,000¢ reward and we can continue with the story. I hope you liked it and that it helps a lot!
